Welcome to the Rancho San Rafael Community Association website! This website was purchased, set up and maintained by Marsha Tracy, one of the Association members. I hope you will find things of interest here.
We are located in Glendale, California, just a few miles north of downtown Los Angeles. Our community includes 549 homes -- a mix of Mediterranean style single family homes, paired homes, and townhomes.
We are a planned unit development with services and amenities funded through monthly dues paid by property owners. The community operates under a set of Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions, Bylaws, and Guidelines. A Board of Directors elected by the homeowners is the governing body of the community. One of the more important functions of the Rancho San Rafael Community Association is enhancing the desirability and attractiveness of living in Rancho San Rafael by preserving the architectural character and theme of the community. The Association administers and enforces all architectural rules through the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). Monthly Board meetings and ARC meetings are open to everyone (owners and renters alike) and residents are encouraged to attend to share ideas, concerns, suggestions, and comments about our community.
Rancho San Rafael is located just north of the 134 and east of the 2 freeways. We are located close to Verdugo Woodlands Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Middle, and Glendale High Schools. Glendale Community College is just west of the development.
The Americana at Brand and the Glendale Galleria are within a few miles, Bob Hope Airport and LAX are within driving distance, and the Rose Bowl, Dodger Stadium, and the Coliseum have sporting, cultural, and historic events.
We are a diverse community boasting residents of many different cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and ages. We are a warm, friendly, welcoming community. Residents may choose to enjoy our swimming pool, spa and tennis courts, tot lot, and our recreation center. Owners can access the "Residents" section of the website to view additional data not available to non-residents. Persons who, in the opinion of the webmistress, use the data in an inappropriate manner will have their access to the data restricted.
We encourage local area businesses to utilize our website for advertising opportunities.
Please come to visit ... whether just our website or our community.
